A series of small wooden sculptures. Within the small volume, I try to form a stack or a column of a large variety of forms that results in a harmonious whole.
A series of drawings in which i configuer visual aspects as background, foreground and all the spaces in between. In that way that the viewer has no direct entrance or orientation in the picture.
The top part of each collage is a stripped book cover from an early 19th century hardcover book. They all contain a nicely patinated, fragily coloured underlayer and bookbinder twine. The lower part of each collage is also a book cover with traces of use and some added bookrelated details. As a series they can refer to the viewer as a range of season/weather conditions.
A series of monotypes in black ink on paper. Searching for variations in horizontal compositions, linear structures, contrast, depth. They have landscape features but they appear also as a purely abstract image.
Edges is a series of woodcuts. They are no part of a numbered edition, they are all unique pieces. The layered printing is different for all of the images. The images refer to landscapes as well to bookcovers.
A series of photographic experiments on early twentieth century photographic paper. The use of this expired paper often results in unpredictable images. It is always exciting to see the image appear by manipulating the paper as well as the developer and the fix.

Impressions is a series of woodblock and leatherblock experimental printings. They are inspired by nature during the four seasons and the great variations of colours. These works may look abstract but they also refer to landscapes. It’s a balance between abstraction and figuration. The prints are composed by multiple coloured layers and with various dot sizes.
Dots is a series of photographic experiments on early twentieth century photographic paper. The combination of expired paper and the manipulation of the developer and the fix results in unexpected images. I prepared the multiple patterns of dots with various materials.
A series of analogue photographic experiments on old, expired (mid 20th century) photographic paper. Layer upon layer, stamps with various sizes of dots are drenched in paper developer, fix and water. A certain depth appears.
A series of small analogue photographic images. Suggestive black and white prints in which an ambiguous portrait is created due to the absence of details.
